How It
All Began
They met in 2025 at a friend’s birthday party when he accidentally picked up her drink.
She told him it was hers. He panicked, apologised, and offered to buy her another.
Three hours later, they were still talking. Two weeks later, they were officially dating.
To this day, she maintains he stole her drink on purpose.
He maintains it was an accident.
Nobody believes him.

Getting to Lake Garda
Flying from London Airports:
- London Luton (LTN) – Verona (VRN): Closest airport to Sirmione and the easiest transfer.
- London Gatwick (LGW) – Verona (VRN): Another good option if lfight times work for you.
- London Stansted (STN) – Bergamo (BGY): often worth checking for cheaper flights.
Best Choice: Fly into Verona (VRN) as it is roughly 30km away and fastest transfer
Getting Around
The easiest option is to take a taxi or pre-booked private transfer directly from Verona Airport to Gardone Riviera.
The journey takes approximately 55–60 minutes. Taxis are available directly outside the Arrivals Terminal, although we recommend pre-booking a transfer where possible.
For a more budget-friendly option:
1. Verona Airport → Verona Porta Nuova
Take the Verona AirLink 199 bus from outside the Arrivals Terminal to Verona Porta Nuova train station. Buses run approximately every 20 minutes.
2. Verona Porta Nuova → Desenzano del Garda-Sirmione
Take a direct train to Desenzano del Garda-Sirmione. The train journey is approximately 20–25 minutes.
3. Desenzano → Gardone Riviera
From Desenzano train station, continue by local bus towards Salò / Gardone Riviera, or take a taxi for the final part of your journey.
Allow approximately 2½–3 hours in total when travelling by public transport.
During the summer season, direct bus services also operate from Verona Airport to destinations around Lake Garda. We recommend checking the latest timetable before travelling, as routes are seasonal.
